LE VINTAGE DE SIMON

Cet été, Simon part à l’aventure avec sa famille sur la Vélodyssée, cet itinéraire mythique qui longe l’Atlantique du nord au sud. Une escapade en mode cyclotourisme, où confort, fiabilité et plaisir de rouler doivent être au rendez-vous.

Pour cela, Simon ne voulait pas d’un vélo standard. Il souhaitait un vélo unique, à la fois pratique pour voyager en famille, solide pour emprunter des chemins variés, mais surtout, fidèle à son goût pour le vintage et les belles lignes.

Conçu et réalisé entièrement dans notre atelier, le vélo de Simon est un concentré de savoir-faire artisanal et de choix techniques intelligents :

• Intégration de la câblerie : les câbles de frein et de transmission passent à l’intérieur du cadre, pour une ligne épurée, une meilleure protection contre les intempéries, et un entretien simplifié.

• Freins à disque hydrauliques : une puissance de freinage fiable et constante, même en descente, par temps de pluie ou chargé de bagages.

• Boîtier de pédalier excentrique : permet d’ajuster la tension de la chaîne sans tendeur externe, un atout en termes de simplicité et de durabilité.

• Porte-paquet avant artisanal : fabriqué sur-mesure en inox dans notre atelier, il accueille sac, panier ou caisse selon les besoins du voyage, avec solidité et élégance.

Côté style, Simon avait une idée claire : il voulait un vélo qui ait du caractère, avec une touche vintage assumée. Il a donc choisi un orange franc et lumineux comme couleur principale, ponctué de détails vert, pour apporter profondeur, contraste et originalité. Un look à la fois rétro et intemporel, qui attire l’œil sans en faire trop. Un vélo qui se remarque, mais surtout qui raconte une histoire. La sienne.

This summer, Simon is setting off on an adventure with his family along the Vélodyssée, the legendary cycling route that follows the Atlantic coast from north to south. An adventure made for bike touring, where comfort, reliability, and the joy of riding are essential.

For a trip like this, Simon wasn’t looking for just any bike. Simon wanted something unique — a bike practical enough for family travel, tough enough to handle mixed terrain, but above all, true to his love for vintage aesthetics and clean lines.

Designed and built entirely in our workshop, Simon’s bike is a perfect expression of artisanal know-how combined with thoughtful technical features:

• Internal cable routing: Brake and gear cables run inside the frame for a clean look, better protection from the elements, and easier maintenance.

• Hydraulic disc brakes: Reliable, consistent braking power — even downhill, in the rain, or fully loaded with gear.

• Eccentric bottom bracket: Allows precise chain tension adjustment without the need for an external tensioner — a smart, durable, and minimalist solution.

• Custom front rack: Handcrafted from stainless steel in our workshop, it’s designed to carry bags, crates, or baskets securely and with style.

Simon had a clear vision when it came to style : he wanted a bike with real personality, proudly embracing its vintage soul. He chose a bold, bright orange as the main color, accented with deep green details to add contrast, depth and originality. The result is a look that’s both retro and timeless, eye-catching without being flashy. A bike that doesn’t just stand out  it tells a story. His story.
